A robust design utilizes a fixed pattern concept removing the need to withdraw the circuit breaker for isolation or test, the circuit breaker technology is based on an air-insulated vacuum and magnetic operation with no requirement for SF6 gases and their associated maintenance costs. Fixed pattern designs offer a reduced overall footprint, annual maintenance, and lifetime cost of ownership; the ease of operation delivers higher levels of operator and system safety.
